"Summertime, And the Livin' is Easy"

pepe805

This is what Bess sings in the George Gershwin opera, Porgy & Bess. I'm not sure if the summer is an easy time but to make it easier, here are some dates. I've adjusted to think that it will be much easier to have dates rather than the converse.

Schedule

Some of you still have the calendar from September of last year. We are coming up on an Easter break. There are NO LESSONS Wed, April 13, Monday, April 18 & Tuesday, April 19. These are planned & scheduled to be off, so it's all part of 40 lessons in the year. I have communicated with my Thursday students separately.

Also, later in May, there are no lessons Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 as well as Tuesday, May 31.

We will continue on this same schedule through June 10 after which we will be switching to summer schedule. Summer Zando will kick in & whatever camps you've signed up for as well as those who are continuing with regular lessons. It's possible your lesson day may change but I will be in touch about that at a later time.

Recital

We'll meet together at Mount Aetna Bible Church in the small town of Mt. Aetna.

-Beginning at 7:00 sharp, you'll need to arrive a few minutes early to get signed-in for drawings at the end of the evening

-(yes, I love giving prizes to our door-prize winners, both students & parents) and

-nobody should miss the student picture at the end of the evening.

-Refreshments for students & family will follow so please do not miss any of the pieces.

-Invite others. There's plenty of room for you all!

"We are so pleased with our son’s experience at Forte Piano. Donna makes the lessons enjoyable and provides songs she feels the student will enjoy. She also does a great job affirming our son, and it is a blessing for us that he enjoys his lessons and feels comfortable asking questions. I highly recommend Donna and Forte Piano music studio."
