Student Christmas Music with Coffee-- Soon!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! While I desire gratitude to be part of my life all year long, this is an ideal time to ponder longer the many wonderful blessings I currently have & look forward to in the future. May you enjoy your time with family & friends. There are no lessons or Mini Musicians Tues, Nov 22 - Nov 25.

Christmas Coffeehouse

I'm so excited about the fast-approaching Coffeehouse, Friday evening, December 9. Jolene & I are hearing many fun Christmas songs & carols each week as we're meeting for lessons. This is a come when it works & leave when you need to kind of evening. While we'll start playing at 6:30, if you come at 7:15, it will still be fine for you to get in with your songs. We'll meet downstairs at the Mount Aetna Bible Church (11 N Chestnut Street, Mount Aetna). Yes, this is the same place as the spring recital but in a different room. You'll see the cars below. Come between 6:30 - 8:30 and we'll assign an order as you come.

Don't forget your cookies and hot beverages will be available for you to enjoy! I'm hoping we won't be too crowded but we'll make the best of our space & the time we have together. Wouldn't it be crazy to have the entire room break out singing Rudolph or the like? Let's wear lots of red, green & white!!

Blue Christmas

While we sing of the holidays being full of cheer & use "merry" a lot, and we hear of the general "glee" during this time, I'm fully cognizant that December is difficult for many. For a variety of reasons, the Christmas season can be challenging rather than joyful. If this is you or someone you know, I'd invite you to look out for a book that you may take that I'll have right outside my door. It's called The Four Emotions of Christmas. It's free & for you if you'd like one. First come, first serve.

Snow Days

Now's the time of year that snow can creep up on us. As we get to the inclement weather, we generally will do what the schools do (ELCO since we're located in that district). Yet, we all know that sometimes the school will close because of a cold morning and the threat of icy spots, and by lunch, the sun is shining bright. Please be on the lookout for emails should we decide to close. I'm sorry that those days get lost & aren't made up.

T-Shirts

Did you notice the new t-shirts. It's a fun blue color. They're for sale if anyone is interested. $15.

Summer Plans?

When we've not even passed the New Year, I know you're not thinking summer, but I'm planning for what your student will enjoy & benefit from next summer. Many of you already know that you have the option of finishing the last few of the 40 lessons through the summer or participating in a Summer Zando (a week or several days of music learning). I'm anticipating releasing the dates & topics for 2023 in January. Lots more on that coming! Exciting!

Invoices

Thanks to many who are regular in paying the first lesson of each month! Please open your invoice especially if your student has recently gotten new lesson books. While I spend a lot of money on music that is helpful & enjoyable for students that I'm happy to share with many students, the regular lessons books are on your invoices.
