For some, creating at the piano is simple but for others difficult & overwhelming. Wherever you fall on this range, we’ll work together to create a song that is uniquely yours. Working at the piano and finding rhythms & patterns that you like, we’ll create, get it notated & print your song complete with the performance QR code on your new creation
Camp F Details:
For students who’ve had some time to get to some theory. For students in or past Book 2 of Piano Safari (green) or Level 2 of Piano Adventures (blue).

Since this is either a 1:1 or 1:2 creating process, the schedule will be determined individually with at the minimum 4 hours of meeting time.

Many students who are taking piano lessons have never noticed what happens underneath that lid. Now a familiar class to many families, Piano Guts is an inside look at how a piano is put together and then the DisMantLing begins! Very high participation! The keys from prior pianos are hanging in the hallway & Donna’s room and you’ll want to put your name on this year’s keys if you haven’t done it in the past. Both weeks will be offered if needed. No power tools. Pure muscle is needed! Maximum is 6 students in each group. You’ll have a piano angel to take home on the last day. Repeats are welcome assuming there is room.

Piano Guts
With a week for younger and a week for older students, this excellent hands-on week of learning, playing, & crafting is all about 3 major composers during the time of Baroque music, 1685 - 1750. Hear the music and experience the joys of long ago treasures by Bach, or Handel or Vivaldi. Younger & older have loved this week! If you have completed Goin’ Baroque as a primary student, that’s no problem. The book will be the same, but all the playing is totally different. Join us!!

Goin' Baroque
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Calling violin students, guitar students, & piano students. Come & help us create small ensembles & uncover the joy of doing your part in a larger group. This is for elementary as well as older teen players. Since we play very often alone, playing together is a special treat that brings different joys. Talk with your teacher if you’re not sure if this is for you or not. Duets, trios & small ensembles will be determined after sign-ups and parts purchased or arranged by teachers.
