Classical Times
The Classical Period of Music, from 1750 – 1820, includes greats like Mozart, Beethoven & Haydn. Exploring this unique era of musical history, we’ll become familiar with some of their great work and explore the times and prevalent styles. You’ll leave with a well-documented keepsake that reflects what we’ve been learning. Games & snacks will be part of our time together and on our last day, we’ll plan on a mini showcase of what we accomplished.

The Beat Goes On #2
Using buckets & cups as part of our instrumentation, this week will be filled with groovin’ & countin’ as we use our familiar quarter & eighth notes and include all the cousins too (half notes, dotted halves & whole notes). We’ll create, read & make our own music together with high participation!! While similar in format to Beat ‘22, this will include different material. Do not be afraid to sign up again! Our 2 1/2 hour morning sessions will end the week with the excitement of playing for our families.

Piano Blitz
Piano Blitz is for those who’d like to meet for concentrated lessons rather than spreading out our lessons throughout the summer. Rather than hopscotching our lessons throughout the summer weeks, we’ll take four straight days to cover as much material as possible. Flip, flip, flip will be the sound of your pages as we press to get through as many pages as possible within a shorter time frame. It’s a long time to work, but I promise we won’t be sitting at our pianos for 2+ hours straight. Nobody could make that! We’ll break up the time with music games, reviews and performances. This more than fulfills the 5 or 6 remaining lessons you’ll get over the summer and is ideal for beginner & intermediate grades who are still in lesson books.
